Large amethyst set in engraved 1900 fork necklet

This is a stunning piece of statement jewellery. I used a huge 15mm trillion amethyst and set it in the tines of a mother-of pearly handled fork. The fork itself is highly engraved and I’ve set the stone so that the engraving is still on display. The pendant hangs 1.5 inches from a sterling silver neck wire which fits at 18 inches ( including the gap) . I had two identical amethysts and have set each in identical forks, but they look completely different. Each is a unique piece of jewellery which you won’t see anyone else wearing.
